News broke yesterday that Tyler Perry Studios went up in a massive blaze.
It took over 100 fire fighters to respond to the fire that took over the 200,000 squarefoot complex. There’s major controversy surrounding this story, where a mother from New Jersey is arrested for allegedly taking her 5 year old daughter into a tanning booth.
Patricia Krentcil, the mom, age 44, says her daughter was never exposed to tanning booth lights and was only slightly burned by sunlight while playing outdoors.

Jenna Talackova: Transgender – Disqualified From Miss Universe Canada
Miss Universe Canada finalist, Jenna Talackova, 23, was disqualified from the competition after it was discovered that she was had undergone sexual reassignment surgery, CTV reports.
National director of Miss Universe Canada Denis Davila told the Toronto Star that while they consider Talackova to be a “real girl,” Miss Universe rules stipulate that contestants must be a “naturally born female.”
Talackova tweeted, who later locked her Twitter account.

2 high school students from Toronto Ontario Canada successfully launched a helium powered device to the earths outer atmosphere. The device was strapped with 4 cameras and a lego man holding a Canadian flag.
The 2 students, Mathew Ho and Asad Muhammad, spent about $400 of their own money, and spent many hours working on this device.
